The great white sharks have very sharp and strong teeth, so this is one of the reasons why people fear them so much. On TV, there were many documentaries about the great white sharks that tried to explain people these animals do not usually eat humans, but they confuse them with seals or with other animals that are their prey. There were cases when great white sharks attacked and even killed people, but this does not always happen. On the other hand, humans are often very irresponsible when they go surfing or swimming in the areas although they are prevented that there live great white sharks, so the danger they are exposed to is very high.

It is true that the great white sharks look terrifying and also like some monsters, but they are just animals that see humans as something unusual for their habitat. Sometimes, great white sharks can get scared and they overreact by attacking people. These animals exist for many years and they survived even when climate changes happened. They managed to adapt to all the new environments and they are still very strong animals. For the sake of our life, it is recommended to avoid the places where great white sharks live. Great white sharks image became negative after releasing films where great white sharks were presented as ferocious and very aggressive animals that were killing a lot of people. Since then, people had in mind those horrifying images with great white sharks killing people, but is not something that always happens.

Later, there were TV documentaries which presented scientists who dived into the waters where great white sharks lived and they were inoffensive. The scientists were very close to the great white sharks, they even touched them, but nothing bad happened. So, this subject is very controversial and the idea of great white sharks attacking and killing people is still debated. There are different opinions about this subject and the scientists still need to search more and to make other experiments, so we will have a better idea about sharks’ life. We judged these animals too soon, but it is time to think different.
