One of the biggest predators in the water is the great white shark which can grow over 5 meters long and eat a person with one bite however this fact is one that is more of a scare tactic for those people that prefer to hunt and exploit the great white who only attack humans if the humans get into their feeding grounds. The great white does a relatively picky eater prefer other animals like sea lions and seals to eat or big fish that they can catch. Some sharks that have been caught and have had their bellies cut open reveal many interesting things that these big sea animals have eaten. The great white sharks have been found with anchors, car parts, turtle shells whole as well as rubber parts, boat parts, wood and other objects in their stomachs. This is an interesting fact seeing as they are very particular eaters who prefer a specific taste of protein.

The great white mainly stick to the coastal waters of the oceans where they can find prey such as animals that live in the sea and on the land. Some of these monsters of the deep can grow to be 100 years old however with the rapid decrease in certain shark populations from over fishing it is difficult to tell if the great white is becoming endangered or not. In the water a great white will swim around swimming people to go for what looks like their natural food seals however people on surf boards and boggy boards look exactly like a surfaces seal. The open water is the best place for the larger great white sharks to catch their prey. The come up from the bottom in an ambush like attack which takes the other animals by surprise. This is the best chance for the shark because the smaller and more nimble seals and other creatures can easily out maneuver the great white. The great white shark has been living in the oceans of the world for many hundreds of thousands of years and adapted over this time. Getting smaller as the centuries go along they are still one of the biggest animals in the sea.
